Abstract

The concept of power is one of the critical aspects of IR. "Soft Power" has developed as a substitute for comprehending the complicated connection between nations and how nations utilize various non-coercive tactics to convince foreign actors. In contrast, "Hard Power" has long occupied the center of scholarly conversation. Nye suggested the idea to signify the transition from stance to appeal in the middle half of the 20th century. The center of this paper is the role of "Soft Power" in international relations (IR). The research has used various theorist notions to examine how power discussions create intense debates and disputes. Then, we looked at the Nye power framework linked to the altering character of the international order. Furthermore, we will investigate the notion of "Soft Power" sources and their implications for IR.
